🌱 Propagation Instructions

  1. Sowing Time: Plant in spring or early autumn for the best germination.
  2. Soak the Seeds: Place seeds in a glass bowl or heatproof container and pour boiling water over them, enough to cover the seeds. Leave overnight to soften the seed coat and promote better water absorption.
  3. Sowing Depth: Fill a pot or container with seed-raising mix. Sow seeds 3-5mm deep and gently press them into the soil, just covering them.
  4. Germination Conditions: Place the pot in a warm, sunny position. Keep the soil moist but not soggy, and maintain temperatures between 18°C and 24°C.
  5. Germination Timeframe: Seeds typically germinate within 15-25 days under optimal conditions.
  6. Seedling Care: Once the seedlings have developed a strong root system, transplant them into larger pots or directly into the garden.

🌸 Additional Tips

  1. Pollinator-Friendly: Attracts bees, butterflies, and other pollinators with its bright flowers.
  2. Landscaping Use: Perfect for hedges, shade, or adding texture and colour to garden borders.
